PVC membrane liner, also known as HDPE geomembrane liner, has been used significantly in the mining industry for anti seepage lining solution since about 1970. The HDPE geomembrane liner is the ideal and cost effective geosynthetic material in the construction of evaporation ponds, tailings impoundments and heap leach pads. The most extensive use of the geomembrane liner has been, and remains, in the construction of evaporation ponds, starting in the early 1970’s, and heap leach pads starting in the late 1970’s. Tailings impoundments have historically been mostly soil lined, but increasing in their use of plastic geomembrane in recent times.
PVC membrane liner has good physical and chemical resistance, so it is widely used in mining applications in heap leaching of mineral-bearing rock, mill tailings disposal, and evaporation or solar ponds for recovery of salts. BPM smooth geomembrane liner is a kind of high molecular polymer as the basic raw material of the waterproof barrier material, it is made of high-quality polyethylene resin as raw material, adding carbon black antioxidant, anti-aging and UV-resistance component. It adopted the first-class automatic production equipment and three-layer pressing technology.
The HDPE geomembrane liner mainly divided into low density polyethylene (LDPE) geomembrane, high density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) geomembrane. All products are in accordance with GB, GRI and ASRM standard.
