To meet the growing demand, mineral processing will generate a substantial amount of tailings. The accumulation of these tailings poses numerous problems for the mining industry, environment, and economy.
Piled-up tailings are prone to flow and collapse, causing damage to vegetation and accidents. During the rainy season, the risk of collapse and landslides escalates. The high dam body of tailings ponds also presents potential safety hazards.
Tailings contain harmful components and residual beneficiation agents that inflict severe damage on the ecological environment. Particularly, tailings with heavy metals generate acidic water through sulfide reactions, leaching heavy metals and posing harm to the entire ecosystem.

- Dig anchoring trenches measuring 40*40 around the landfill to prepare for anchoring the anti-seepage membrane on both sides.

- Flatten the geomembrane roll in an open space and cut it into the required shape according to the plan.
- During the geomembrane Kenya laying process, avoid artificial damage and ensure a smooth, tight installation with minimal wrinkles. Select the laying direction wisely to minimize stress on the joints. Arrange the material pieces reasonably and aim for wider joints.
